I was hoping someone on the list might help explain something to me about the
concept of the BwO. I just got a comment back on a piece of work that said that
the BwO is "in a particular sense, an ideal-type". I'm confused, because I would
have thought that the notion of an ideal or a type in any sense would be a molar
code rather than the molecular flux of the BwO. Could anyone help, and maybe
explain to me what the BwO as an "ideal-type" might be?
