Re: 2 questions

Dear Mister King what Jill meant by the body-without-organs is a
secret. But, if you read pages 1- 21 again and carefully peruse the text
beside around and before it, then you might find some clues. The term
originates with the French poet Antonin Artaud who coined [it]while
describing
an unbearable state of body and mind. Kidding aside, there has sprung up a
considerable body of body-sans-organes literature. You might try lookin'
at some of it.. and take it from there... but to ask for a
straight-forward definition I think is asking like asking for the meaning
of life. In Milles Plateaux the second book of AntiOepdipus there is a
chapter named How to Make Yourself a Body without Organs. It is quite
funny and rather collapses the secret into great gales of humour along
with the chapter called The Geology of Morals. One can and many have seen
it as a practice a life style a state of mind and body, a metaphysical
non-space of folding strata and non-strata something which saddles the
various levels of being non-being and becomings... what do they mean, can
mean several things depending on where you are already coming from.. Some
claim, but few really that there is one definition of this term, however
this is merely a game played among those who attempt to create a
denotative sense of the word where there is in fact none at all. However
if there is only conotative senses of the word then the 'meaning' of a
thing is altogether different from the normative sense of the word. THus
our mad cap french authors describe their work as a HOW TO sort of
approach and that one catches the meaning a thing ie. BWO by seeing how it
works and not so much what it is: therefore, one can ask sort of with
blind eyes: How is a Body without Organs and not what is meant? IF one
asks that question then one enters the domain of theory as practice ie.
thinking as subject and action, so the question of a body-without-organs
sends one back to the question of what is body? Which d&g do in
around[directly I mean]
about in some texts, and more directly dans les autres. What is the body,
and how is it organized and how are organs working with other organs and
with the face and the ass, and why one order rather than another. And so
one goes back to the Oedipus question and the question of genital
ORGAN_ization and what/ how does it work, and where what other machines
and connections can be made by following as it were that line of flow and
thought... and what is the Schizo? The schizo template? Is it crossed like
a body without organs, say an egg, [see MA! No hands! No Skin! etc. No
Legs No liver! No virues then either.. it has to be a question of how the
body is structured in terms of its real relations to power, and How the
body is Power with other Bodies] an egg which is crisscrossed by energies
on the molecular ontogenetic level and the is it phylogenetic collective
level or the other way around... How do these energies shapes and forms
intereact and inter-sect is abetter way to say for now... for now...

____ JIll' s Lesson no i BWO -

I have to go - its the last supper.

PS. But many people confuse the BWo with a body without limbs which is
not the same thing. OR organs with out a body. So one has to think about
the whole picture, the relationship the schizo and the body. And and and.
