Deleuze/ancient philo

Hi!
You will fine discussions by Deleuze on Lucretius and Platon
in the appendix to Logique du sens, a criticism of the Socratic
dialogue and the Socratic irony in Nietzsche et la philosophie,
and an analysis of ancient stoicism in all the pages of Logique
du sens dedicated to the incorporals and the concept of event.
All these texts have been translated into English. Deleuze's
reading of ancient stoicism is largely borrowed from Emile
Brehier who used to teach at the Sorbonne, probably when D. was
preparing the "agregation" in philosophy. To summarize, Deleuze
usually refers to ancient greek philosophy either to attack
Platonism, after Nietzsche, or to support his system of the
simulacra that he developped in paralell with Pierre
Klossowski's philosophical and literary works.
