For earthquakes, try seism-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. This list
publishes all Seismology Reports from around the world.

For weather, try the Weather Service. Telnet downwind.sprl.umich.edu 3000
or 141.212.196.177. This service offers city/state forcasts, shi
conditions, earthquake reports and more.

For Weather Maps, ftp vmd.cso.uiuc.edu, change to directory 'wx'
(cd wx). This service offers surface analysis and current
weather maps GIFs.
