RECTOR, the Hungarian Academy of Craft and Design, Budapest

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Hungarian Academy of Craft and Design, Budapest, invites
applications for the position of Rector. The appointment is
for a three year term. Proficiency in Hungarian is required.
Terms of competition
____________________
Applicant's will be required to demonstrate;
- extensive understanding and familiarity with the practice
and the theory of the applied arts at a tertiary level.
- exemplary standing in the profession and in public life.
- extensive and current international connections in the
field of designer training.
- proficiency in Hungarian and at least one other language
The application shall comprise the following
____________________________________________
- a detailed professional autobiography
- concept and rationalization for the development of the
Academy's training program
- ideas on the management of the institute
- documents: copies of the degree, of the certificate of appointment to full
professor.
Patterns for the content, enclosures of the application are the guidelines in
the 1992. 1. issue of Muvelodesi Kozlony.
Time-limit of submission: 30th December, 1992.
