Donald Miller's 1989 book entitled _Lewis Mumford: A Life_ discusses the
influence of Geddes on Mumford in some detail. The book is an excellent
book with fairly detailed references. I am certain that you can find
references on Geddes in this book. There is also the biography of Geddes
entitles _A Most Unsettling Person: the Life and Ideas of Patrick Geddes,
Founding Father of City Planning and Environmentalism_ published by
Saturday Review Press, 1975; the author is Paddy Kitchen.
