Merit Network presents
A Merit Networking Seminar

San Francisco Airport Hilton

Are you and your users interested in learning more about the worldwide
Internet? Merit Network's popular seminar series, "Making your Internet
Connection Count" is intended for administrators, teachers, consultants,
writers, and librarians who want to begin exploring the Internet.

Featured speakers include:
Tom Grundner, creator of the Cleveland Freenet
Perry Samson, U-M weather underground
Jean Armour Polly, Director of Information Services; NYSERNET, Inc.
Paul Evan Peters, Executive Director, Coalition for Networked Information

A special feature will be a panel of WAIS, archie, and Gopher experts:
George Brett, National WAIS Clearinghouse
Alan Emtage, co-creator of archie
Mark McCahill, Gopher project leader

An optional hands-on tutorial of using Internet resources will be offered
at Stanford University for an additional fee.

The cost of the 1 1/2 day seminar is $395 ($495 after February 24). The
additional cost for the hands-on tutorial is $150.
