Nicole: By "2D" *I* mean the z-axis approximates zero [0] in relationship
of its ratio to x-axis and y-axis. Therefore, figures, as you state, should
actually be as flat as possible. However, thy may be modelled with shade,
shadow, and light to appear more 3D. I would choose between 2D and 3D, if
I was speaking about 2D and 3D. This dows not mean that there cannot be
a mix of 2D and 3D forms in the same work. Confusing? Howard
