Third International Conference on Computational Graphics and
Visualization Techniques
Hotel Alvor Praia Alvor Algarve PORTUGAL
6-10 December 1993
"COMPUGRAPHICS '93" is being organized in conjunction with "EDUGRAPHICS '93"
and again devoted to the maturing field of Computational Graphics.
The conference aims at gathering together all interested individuals to discuss
the current situation, future directions and research goals. It will be open to
contributors from all ranks and from over the world. Graphics is focused on from
a wide and comprehensive point of view. The conference is not one more
'computer graphics' meeting but a truly all-encompassing event on all aspects
and sub-areas of Graphics. The conference is known for its openness,
anti-clique and anti-politics philosophy.
Subject areas include : Traditional Graphics and Descriptive Geometry,
Theoretical Graphics and Classical Geometry, Engineering Graphics and
Computerized Drafting, Computational Geometry and CAGD, Geometric and Solid
Modeling, Computer Graphics and Image Synthesis, CAD/CAE/CAM and Engineering
Design, Finite Element and Other Numerical Methods, Scientific Visualization
and Supercomputing, Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems, Standards and
Human-Computer Interface, Physically-Based Modeling and Animation, Natural
Scene Simulation and Fractals.
