AutoCad 10,11, and especially 12(which also works in windows if you order the
extension) are very good modelers. If you want a presentation quality image,
AutoDesk puts out a program called 3-D Studio which I use alot. It is made by
the AutoCad makers, so files can be created in ACad and transported to 3DS (by
way of DXF) and materials can be added. Animation (Flics) are fairly easily
created.
