LUX LOGIS was founded in spring 1991 as an union of
about 20 media-artists in Berlin. The individual
artists are influenced by different areas like
fine arts, film, video art, design, philosophie,
communication science, information science, computer
science, physics and robotics.
One of the main activities in the last two years was
the organization of the computer art festival
ELECTRONIC ARTS SYNDROM (EAS) `91 and `92. In 1994 the
the next EAS will take place in Berlin.
LUX LOGIS, as a node for electronic arts in Berlin, is
interested to cooperate and have an exchange with inst-
tutions, autonomous groups and artists in the world.

an interactive telecommunication project designed by LUX LOGIS
from 1. - 3. september 1993 - each day at 13.00 pm - 13.45 pm (MET DST)
LUX LOGIS invites people, interested in philosophical
communication and electronic art, to participate at
an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) session, which will be
live transmissed by a public access television OK
("Offener Kanal Berlin") at the Internationale Funk-
ausstellung (IFA).
As a first of successive communication experiments
in electronic networks, we are interested in exploring
absurd conversation situations between people, and
between people and inforobots supported by an restric-
tive medium like the IRC.
The communicationstructure isn`t linear but chaotical
and should be used to discuss the term COMMUNICATION.
