Jeroen:

As far as I know, there is no discussion group on mobility in this
country. Econet (a non-profit group that charges for connection to e-mail
conferences, and other on-line services) has mobility discussions as part
of it's 'energy' conference, but mobility issues are somewhat secondary to
issues affecting recreational bicycling. It is primarily activists and not
planners or other transportation professionals. Other than that, there
isn't much. Even the professionls interested in the subject tend to be
divided between the social scientists (who lean more towards
transportation research and engineering societies) and urban designers,
who tend towards the architecture and planning groups.
