Does anyone know who designed the Seattle Mutual Building?
It really caught my eye on my recent visit to Seattle.

Not too far away is the Seattle art museum. They almost look like they could
have been designed by the same person... but not quite. I would guess that
the art museum was designed by Michael Graves but the Mutual Building was
not.

Anyone have more info? My pile of architecture books aren't very helpful.

I don't know who did the Seattle Mutual Building, but Michael Graves
had nothing to do with the Seattle art museum. It was Venturi (sp?)
and they spent almost a year arguing who was going to pay for the over
budget expenditures due to the complexity of building the structure.
