Yes, I thought it was common knowledge that there is an English edition
of Benevolo's "The History of the City". Looking in Kenneth Frampton's
"Modern Architecture: A Critical History", it says"Cambridge,Mass. 1980."
So I assume it's an MIT publication- but I seem to remember it also been
published by Scolar Press, which is an English academic press. I hope that
this is of some use
