David: I agree with you 100% on the problem of clearity. Most designers
who do decon cannot speak about what they have done. However, perhaps
decon in architecture is completely misplaced. It is so much like
wonderful sculpture, why should it be architecture? Are these
architectural designers just frustrated sculptors? Equally
frustrating is the attempted connection between philosophy and
architecture. Most architectural designers do not know how to do
it. Most philosphers have no idea about how architects should do it.

It would be interesting to have a major discussion on this list
about the relevance of decon to architecture!
