Hugh Kenner's book _Geodesic Math and How to Use it_ is the best summary of
dome material that I have seen. He's comprehensive and simply written.
If you want to learn the philosophy and science behind the domes, try Fuller's
_Synergetics_ vol 1 and 2. If you can get a hold of the the _Domebooks_ they
are useful.
