government.

Well, you know there was a lot of idealism in the post-war years. A lot
of people did feel as if they had conquered the devil, and that they
we in the process of building a new utopia. There was a lot of worker's
housing built in the US. The biggest influence on them was FLW, not
international style. That's how the suburbs got built, Levittown, etc.
