Re: ARCHITECTURE: Strawbale Construction.

I am a member of Blue Heron Partners, Inc, a cooperative
mixed-income cohousing community being created outside Chapel Hill NC. We
are consulting with a local architect who has worked for years with Pliny
Fisk, a major strawbale guru. Pliny will be doing a hands-on workshop in
Raleigh, NC April 22 and 23 (next week). We plan to build our community
building and the first phase of homes using straw bale.

I would be very interested in on-going discussion of straw bale construction.

Blue Heron is also recruiting new members. I will be glad to send our
vision statement to anyone interested.
