If you are interested in roadside landscapes and automotive culture
than you should get in touch with the SOCIETY FOR COMMERCIAL ARCHEOLOGY c/o
National Museum of American History, Room 5010, Smithsonian Institution,
Washington, D.C. The SCA publishes a quarterly and organizes conferences
devoted to car culture and roadside America. The SCA statement of purpose
reads: "The purpose of the Society is to recognize the unique historical
significance of the twentieth century commercial built environment and
cultural landscapes of North America. The Society emphasizes the impact of
the automobile and the commercial process.
