Momentary Fusion and Il Pudore Bene in Vista

Present: SHIFTS

A collaboration of aerial dance and moving light installation.

26th & 27th August 94 at 7.45 P.m.

Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler's Wells, London.

Tickets: =A36/ =A34.50. Box Office: 071 2788916.

Double Bill with Angels of Disorder (Icarus Heart).

This highly visual collaboration aims at stimulating all areas of=
the
fantastical. It treats the origins of our movement as pure energy:=
sexual
inuendoes easily turn into metaphorical beauty; physical risk soon=
aquires
the contours of pleasure. Feminine and masculine drives become
interchangeable. Humour arises through the revelation of a disjointed
reality.

Aerial equipment and shifting screens delimit the space which changes
progressively. A constant interplay between perception and reality=
is
created as much by the hanging bodies as by the geometry of the light
composition and the dialogue with suspended X-ray projections.

Momentary Fusion is an aerial dance-theatre company based in London.=
Its
main components are Sophy Griffiths and Isabel Rocamora. Taking aerial
skills as its basis, the company's main aim is to push the boundaries=
of
New Dance-Circus to their extreme. Recent commissions include: Mediawave,
Hungary; Zwischenzeit, Austria; Josef Nadj Dance company collaboration,
Hungary and Teatro Potlach, Italy.

=46abrizio Crisafulli from Il Pudore Bene in Vista is an architect=
working
with light composition and subtle projections as protagonists on=
stage.
After having directed The Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, Crisafulli=
now
heads the laboratory of light in The Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino.=
Il
Pudore has performed in Italy, USSR, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany
G.Britain and has recently been chosen to represent Italy in the=
Performing
Arts Festival in Cairo.
