I have 15 years experience in this business and have just one comment:
All architects I worked for couldn't draw!!!
Since I come from a school where visual arts were given great importance -
this alone is quite frustrating.
Reason for this?
In "Tariffs and Fees for Architactural Services" we read:
"...please note that "principal" rates are not expected to apply to
services which require less-than-principal skills (which should, or could,
be delegated to stuff and charged at lower rates)..."
My question: What are principal's skills?
