Jeez; sounds pretty tough there at Minnesota! In what way is the Architecture
program PC (as opposed to the university as a whole?)? What was offensive
about your speech?
Political rhetoric is part and parcel of a rounded education---you can either
participate (and if you do, you had BEST have your "position formed", elsewise
you'll have your head handed to you! But you should never be ostracized for
asking a question that may help you form your position! Or you can sit quietly
and absorb all you can.
