I've *never* lived in a house with a gable roof. This is another of the
myths perpetrated by developers, contractors and their boosters in the
media and architectural profession. I'd take a practical, affordable and
environmentally sensitive house even made of recycled
golf clubs (have you seen the floor tiles?). I'm sure Toyota is busy at work
on this. (And, for the record, many of Toyota's factory-built high-tech
homes *do* have gabled roofs.)
