This is exactly the STUPID attitude of the AIA that lead me to quit this
venerable (puke!!) institution. For the $300 or so annual dues you get
virtually NO benefits (unless you want to count the magazine as a
benefit!) or services (except 'lip-service'). You would think that the
first order of priority would be to insure that everyone in the trade is
working, members AND non-members. Architects traditionally depend upon
a large pool of technical and skilled support 'workers' to execute their
projects. It benefits no one to exclude any group, be it registered
architects that are non-members, persons on the professional track
(heading towards licensing), or trades people (just working in the field).
You would think that a 'member' would benefit from being able to locate
skilled employees, even if they are not members (registered architects).
SHAME ON THE AIA!!

: BSA Architects Online Network, a completely FREE public service open to
: the public at 617-737-8102, is a better place for you to post your resume.

Tell us more. Who and where is BSA Architects? Is this a BBS?
