OK, Mark, if this is your solution, then the next question is "How can
the disenfranchised become owners?"

For example, here in SF, the typical house sells for 200K+. That would be
a 1 bedroom apartment. The average salary is less than 50K, there is no
way that the average citizen can purchase something, even at the bottom of
the real estate spectrum. Worse yet, Ownership is no solution for the
massive numbers of homeless people or the unemployed. What do you suggest
that we do with these people? Cook them for lunch?
