DUE TEATRI.






The College of the Noble ones had two theatres : a large one, like amphitheater, for the tragedies and other shows, and one small, erected in 1685, for the burlette comic that came represented in the carnival. Also in the huge villa of Fontevivo the College of the Noble ones had an elegant one teatrino.

For the rappresentazioni of the convittori they composed teatrali tragedies and other componimenti express, the P. Giovanni Granelli, the P.Poggi, the P. Saverio Bettinelli, the P. From the Cell, l?Ab. Francisco Ghirardelli, l?Ab.Girolamo Ruggia and others that were university professors in the college with the title it of Academics. From the rappresentazioni in the theatre of the College of the Noble ones they took care the Conte Castone of the Tower of Rezzonico, the Conte Aurelio Bernieri, the Teatino P. Paul Paciaudi, Angel Mace, the Carmelitano Giuseppe Father Pagnini Maria and others. Also printer Giuseppe Marello of Milan, in 1756, dedicated to the convittori its first Italian edition of the Lexicum poeticum of the Jesuit the Père Jacques Vanière.
