This set-up of the original design-l archive at architexturez doesn't work
at my end--the URL results here (on my computer) with the opening of a VMRL
browser, which I avoid using because it seems to be the wrong application
for the task.
[here's what I sent John after I downloaded the zip files:
I now have to move the zip files to my off-line computer (that's where I can
unzip them), and only later in the week will I be able to look at the files,
etc. I'll let you know via the list if I can do anything with the files.]
