frankly, i can't remember why exactly i showed these films to my students, but i must have liked them, or seen something in them worthy of inclusion in the curriculum. maybe i liked their playful qualities, or the visual imagery. maybe i should look at them again ... although there's so much visual stimulation today i get rather tired of it ..
