i've seen the marin county civic center and dislike it.
i've only been in part of it, which had trees in a central
atrium surrounding by an oval two story mezzanine. i think
there is something about the scale that makes it seem very
small or somewhat claustrophobic, and it may be a jail or
juvenile detention center (the circular part) now a days.
i can't say i like either building, for being in, though
they were both interesting experiences and worth visiting.
