Brian, why don't you explain (to the list) exactly what maintaining the list entails.
hi Steve. it doesn't entail much of anything.
just logging in to the mailing list interface
every week or so to delete/reject the bounced
messages by spam, never more than a half-dozen,
and any anomalies such as posting problems if
people use addresses that are not subscribed to
the list, or if all e-mails default to moderated
status (somehow this happens every so often where
every subscriber on the list has its posting status
changed by the software (bug?) and so will have to
be manually checked back to posting privileges. it
has happened a few times and probably will occur
again). other than that, it would involve just
being a representative or manager should issues
arise. doesn't entail a lot. though something.
