[design] world design (2)

i hope those on the list living in and visting
the .UK know they are in the thoughts of many...

the deeply disturbing world situations developed
in the last several years are so tied into ways
of perceiving cultural issues, language, belief,
that may be considered as related to design and
an outcome of it. limited by its conception even.

some things appear very clear with regard to the
situation in Iraq, for instance. troops report of
cultural division of non-Arab troops policing the
situation. troops offered from other Arab nations
have been integrated into a stabilization force as
of yet, who knows why... it is curious if it is
because what it would require is to admit strategic
error and miscalculation of a grand order, and the
military bases being built in Iraq for .US troops
are the only bases nearby, as the .US had to pull-
out of the Saudi bases. do they have anywhere else
to go or did they loose all their basing in a big
gamble that is not turning out as planned? would
it just be belligerence, not that the continued
path is to turn the situation around in Iraq but
instead to not admit total strategic failure and
a massive loss of position as the result of very
bad decision-making at the highest levels?

what of the .UN as Russian President Putin has
stated at the G8, replacing .US troops. and in
particular, what about an regional Arab force,
made up of a coalition of Arab states which would
be able to take the place of .US troops while they
withdraw yet provide logistics and other support?
so that Arabs are stabilizing their own regions?
that is a design issue, of one view of questions
(.US designs) are not optimal and even damaging
to the stated causes, if they are indeed guiding
the decision-making- where are checks and balances
for the goals versus achievements in such a case?

the .UN could organize Arab states, bring a new
stabilization approach to the region in which
peace is then paramount goal, not fighting a
never-ending chaos of insurgency of cultural
domination - and rearrange and redesign the
interactions between regions, goals, and ideas
so that Arabs control their fate and destinies,
by design. even if it is for the worse, they
choose. they have to live and sustain as such.
and maybe fighting for their own freedom is as
powerful a statement as can be found, and upon
respecting the need for one's own definition of
cultural liberty, could re-conceive of how the
.US could help support shared goals, not try
to determine something by force and warfare.

i've been working on a poem for some months
now, warriors come home. for all warriors.

if the 'designed' ideas (war versus terrorism)
were actually critiqued accurately to situations
and reviewed in relation to what is said, what is
done, there are mixed-messages and unclear aims
and methods and means and how can this situation
be changed, designed for the better of all, if
the language, logic, and psychology is so off.
it is almost a question of ego or purely power,
the truth is more complex, and why is it not
demanded that the decision-making correspond
with the situations as they exist, not as they
are dreamed or fictionalized to be? the .US
should, with .RU, .IQ and others, start up a
.UN resolution for the formation of a new Arab
coalition of peacekeeping troops to stabilize
and rebuild Iraq, and the .US should prepare
to pull out to other regional bases once such
a regional force can be fielded, to appraoch
the same goals of supporting a new .IQ .gov
as it has been established, by .IQ design.
