Re: [design] the world view (3)

a shared view of the world is possible and necessary
to accurately represent the present situations in a
neutral enough context to make the changes necessary
to secure a new peace- can we develop it together?

the challenge is really finding these shared views,
public and private. a monumental problem!
science as culturally biased - i agree, but most westerners
probably don't. conceding the futility of imposing
western modernity upon the arab world is another challenge, but even sociology 101 will teach you
that change has to come from within and the west
can't do it for them.(has anyone in the administration
studied sociology 101?
as you suggest, what is west
isn't best, and isn't even accurate. so-the west
has to change, too. (from within - and how to design a way to do that???? how to convince
the west to find a common cultural science, public and private, which fits even loosely
with the islamic world.)
does anyone have an example of some area
of cultural science that might possibly fit
into the islamic views? what, to be more
precise, are some of the scientific islamic
views we could possibly approach and
find common public or private cultural acceptance?
