near death

To jump in...

What about 'near' death experiences? If we do give them validity, these
cases may put a new spin on the absoluteness of death, yes? WHat would
it mean to experience the infinity of death within the finitude of life?
Do not descriptions of near death experiences mirror Heidegger's
description of the moments in which the question makes its appearance?
Do we not experience death even in life, in preparation perhaps? ANd if
these moments are but approximations of death, premonitions, if you will,
then to what degree? Surely there are degrees... of death and dying.
