Ah, but Irigaray does remind us of the forgotten 'air' or 'aer' (as in
aerial) of Heidegger (and in that sense she brings Heidegger on and
through), not just the fluidic but also the poesy-song of the air. [She'll
certainly be a major figure in my opera].

Isn't it wonderful when philosophic discourse is a 'conversation in the soul' (plato) rather than a
display of opposing unhearing dogma. Irigaray discourses with Heidegger as
does Derrida, not swapping opinions, not toting up the agreements and
disagreements, not moronic chest-beating loud-mouthing, etc. Thanks for
bringing in all these conversants, this polylogue, this polyphony of airs.
I tell you it's a plague of opinions on this list sometimes and no internal work which is specially unsettling and sad to see displayed by those who have an affinity for this science but fail in their obligation without debt in its deployment.

I don't know, I don't know where you get the time, maybe it's just me... There is always the possibility of falling into what D&G call a black hole which would be depressing bad news. This as I understand it is the ascetic move of an anti-social transcendentalism the reifies nothignness or possibility and does not allow for a relation to emerge or for de-cision to take place. 'De-cision' in this case being that instituting power that ties the knots and thus allows for the deployment of an associated network that is innovative and a worlding world of possibilities whose productivity is a kind of nesting-function for fertile eggs or a multitude of BWO. Deeper questions that are indicated here in a veiled manner have to do with the nature of the imagination and fantasy. At some point one has to defend an approach to the traversal of fantasy or a scientific fiction if you will and show that it does ground us and institutes a foundation that is real because it is effective as a transformational pedagogical tool. A basic question would be how is it that an icon or image is liberating although , to be honest, it enslaves and ties up or gathers up a human's energy and time in the direction of an unprecedented event beyond all imagination and understanding? Anyway, I appreciate the time your taking to bring some fresh air into the cobweb spinning nonsense of a subjective, willful and intentional plague of opinions. I feel vaguely the potential of the light ambience of your air. Its invigorating and healthy and at a very basic and simple level that does not get any lower, I'm happy to be here passing my time on this crazy list. Who knows what is emerging but I like the banality of it all and more I like the attractiveness of the naive superficiality that is possible on da-list of da-Sign.
The only reason at the most basic and primal level that people don't settle down and think long term is that they are not happy as if the grass is more intelligent and interesting on the other side of the fence. Yeah sure it's going to be greener and more persephonic, for sure, we haven't even come close to doing all the required readings and we don't have a clue on how to steak out a fertile territory for the planting of seeds here in the new wild west where pioneers find no sheriff in town. We find only an exceptional situation without law and order or possibility.
