We (spoons) are profoundly unmarried to the idea of "proper-name lists".
However, we have found that it is not easy to make the other kinds
of lists work; postco is really an exception in this regard. Even
film-theory, which I'd imagine to have as good a name as they come,
is for some reason rather marginal in terms of usefulness and
vitality. (This is not to say that the proper-name lists necessarily
are non-marginal.) In any case, we will happily consider any new-list
proposals you, or anybody, might have, as long as the proposer is
willing to be coordinator for the list and join Spoons.
