Re: Heidegger and Marx

I wouldlike to refer this discussion to Fred Dallmayr's wonderful book,
_Between Freiburg and Frankfurt_ that considers Heidegger and Marxism in
great detail. Dallmayr does much to explore the complexity that exists
and existed between Heidegger and figures like Lukacs, Adorno, and so
forth.

Additionally, Rolf Wiggershaus' _Frankfurt School_ is now available in
English. Where Dallmayr's exploration in theoretical, Wiggershaus' is
historical. For Wiggershaus, Heidegger is always at least in the back-
ground of what the Frankfurt School was about. And, obviously, for
people like Marcuse, well...
