Re: [mpisgmedia] Are women rights causing urban planning problems?

"Is consolidation of property into larger lots (by
excluding women from physical shares in property or
compensating them otherwise or by way of dowry) better
than fragmenting property into small sub-divided plots
which get overbuilt and cause urban planning
disasters?"

1. Do small plots necessarily have to get overbuilt and cause urban planning disasters?
2. Can consolidation of property also be accomplished by lawfully compensating men with dowra or otherwise?
3. Will consolidation definitely not lead to overbuilding and urban planning disasters?
4. Can consolidation and prevention of urban planning disasters not be accomplished by lawful state take-over and re-distribution?
5. Is the law an ass or are those with tunnel vision of the law/planning/gender etc. variety?

Three cheers for academic detachment.
