[mpisgmedia] Ridge Management Board / DPCC: Request for information re RTI Act / CPIOs

Ms Naini Jayaseelan,
Secretary Environment, Delhi Govt

Dear Madam,

Wish you a very happy new year.

I am writing with reference to recent news reports
about you having asked a Ridge-Management-Board to
submit a proposal to Delhi govt pursuant to a visit of
its members to Sanjay Van in Mehrauli ridge, etc, and
about NGO protest and PIL against constructions
(Malls) on Nelson Mandela Marg (referring to DPCC that
has issued a public notice in November 2005 and
apparently also provided information under Right To
Information Act to NGOs).

I am unable to locate details of
Ridge-Management-Board on websites of Delhi Govt or
its Environment or Forest Conservation Departments and
website of DPCC does not mention Ridge or public
notice of November. Forest Deptt details under
s.4(1)(b) of RTI Act, 2005, and DPCC website do not
provide CPIO details and it is not clear if CPIO of
Environment Deptt is to approached in their respect
and if Ridge-Management-Board falls under Environment
Deptt.

>From press reports I am able to identify clearly only
yourself as an active official member of
Ridge-Management-Board and am, therefore, writing to
you to kindly guide me to details of it and also to
CPIOs for it and for DPCC. I request this with urgency
as I need to take up a few points of information in
regard to Mehrauli-Mahipalpur area ridge in context of
court matters, etc.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely,
Gita Dewan Verma, Planner
