Centre promises cheap housing for service providers in
Delhi
New Delhi, June 10: The Centre today promised
economical housing for service providers in the
capital, saying the new master plan for Delhi will
carry provisions for building multi-storeyed
apartments for them.
Noting that so far the planning of Delhi did not have
any provision for service providers, Minister of State
for Urban Development Ajay Maken said it had resulted
in encroachments in the form of slums...
