Draft Bill paves way for re-structuring of DDA

Ministry has also decided to form Urban Regulatory
Authority

* It is learnt that the Bill will take away the
housing activity from DDA and clear the decks for the
entry of private developers in construction activities


* The Bill also contains a proposal to take away the
enforcement powers from DDA
