No more sealing at Rama Road, MCD tells HC

New Delhi, Sep 21: Owners of over 700 industrial units and offices operating from Rama Road Industrial area in west Delhi received a major reprieve today as the MCD assured the Delhi High Court that it will not seal the illegally sub-divided properties in the area any more.

The DDA, however, took a conflicting stand and opposed MCD's decision, saying the civic agency was misinterpreting the provisions of Delhi Master Plan-2021 on the basis of which it had stopped sealing drive.
