window with the author, truth, and the autonomous subject. thing
is, *individuals make and participate in ideology just as much as
they receive it*. remember, "overdetermined" means "excessively
determined," not "determined from above" (sorry bout all those
quote marks I'll stop that now). if D'n'G don't make this clear
enough (and it seems like they do), Foucault and Zizek (but *not*
Althusser) do.
