My "misreading" of your parody of Muschamp's piece is legit. #1 you can't
guarantee against slippage in what we write or build. Once you post a
message, it is an entity in and of itself, with the capacity to have a
meaning in excess of your intent. However, that your piece mocks Zaha as
it mocks Muschamp is something you have to deal with. And so I like your
explanatory piece better.
So my reading qua reading is set into play as others respond to the
issues my reading brought about. Accompanying that is the fact that my
text is not really directed toward you personally, ad hominem. It is a
reaction, with a life of its own. And Garry, i struggle not to be subjective.
As far as humor in architecture, you might look at John Knesl's writing on
that subject, as he derives it from Nietzsche.
