Even within the United States, this is a problem. I am constantly getting
comments from easterners about the rain in Seattle. Never mind that Seattle
in January-February usually has about the same rainfall as Tuscon, and our
annual rainfall is approximately the same as Los Angeles (just more spread
out). Oops. That was a secret. Don't tell anybody! They might want to
move here.
