located the church cross that actually uses a
huge telephone pole, it is approximately equal
in distance to the e-pole across the street, half
of its size. the base of the cross (cross-arm) is
pocked like a telephone wooden pole often is.

thirdly, a favorite example of 'learning from
las vegas' signage of car-culture was found
at a church (and, community center, too) which
use(s) an LED animated sign to announce the
date, time, temperature, schedule, services, etc.
it is surreal to see such signs activated in an
otherwise hidden electronic environment.
