a kind of resocialization of urban transport

good idea.
need a lot of financial support to become really effective.
if carmakers pay for (partial) implementation, instead of common tax payers or bikers themselves, could be good.
a kind of resocialization of urban transport.

and would be fun to see an executive or a metalworker biking and bathing together , because in Cuba or China it´s impossible to find that situation (no real executive available there.... just executioners or executed )

in the 70ties similar projects were proposed. Here, in the center of Mexico city , a bicycle area was just finished recently through agood part of the city, a few months ago.

lot of opposition, very few users.
but still a good idea. y
ears ago ,on sundays, car lanes of some central avenues were also used by cyclists.

In places like Mexico (or India , or China?), the use of a bicycle is reserved for poor people who are struggling to get a car or motorbike. so to have a better way of life.

In western places like the Usa, or Holland, on the contrary, using a bicycle could be a sign of richness, materially speaking, and even mentally too.

Of course Dutchmen are favorised by living in a quite completely flat country, therefore Lance (not Neil) Amstrong has more merit to win "le tour de france " for a sixth occasion, surpassing Eddy Merckx.
Neil Amstrong wanted to race but was still looking to the Moon.
Eddy Merckx became a fatty bar owner...
