Re: [design] the Edifice Complex

I do think creative context is at least often enough chronologically based. What else was going on around the world 1962-78? For example, what were the PROGRESSIVE ARCHITECTURE Design Awards like during those years?

exactly- this is what is missing or the omission from the
experience-- after this exhibit i would tend to believe that
Gehry was more influenced by the moon lander module on those
years (metallic fragmented forms) & his toaster deconstruction
earlier days, than any of this work which had no 'music' in it.

also, maybe Gehry was self-inspired to a certain extent as he
worked with the first outdoor supermall (southdale, here in
minneapolis) and programmatically it could be that these
works (anchor stores, other retail linked by indoor alleys)
could be seen in miniature in later houses and designs where
multiple building/structural/programmatic systems juxtapose.
maybe this exhibit was the context for his creating chairs,
furniture, which i seem to remember reading that one of these
artists helped him with that in some way, to experiment.

I wonder what would happen if I was ever allowed to curate an architect's inspiration exhibit?

could it be already online? what if it was exported offline?
how could the Timepiece of Humanity be exhibited- could it
be a walk-through body section/elevation with some kind of
interactive triggering of geometries/histories/coincidence?
