I don't see any ambiguity there. Being as ground is purely a philosophical
add on to what is expected in the light, in consciousness.
If Being is the ground, then it is also the fundamentum or 'footing' of the
foundation, and is below 'grade' so this fundamentum or 'grund' is a
'reflection' on that which passes. Thus the 'ground' of being is an article
of faith, good faith I suppose, and anchors, but what does it anchor?
Whether it is there or not, it, being, persists and subsists, even in
subjectivity apon 'reflection'....and I take that to mean that reflection is
'retention' of what has passed, the essential meaning of the term
'spiritual' or even 'mental' in any act.
The ground therefore is that which has passed in reflection. The spiritual
or mental is that 'passage' and in it's most exalted and 'de-ified'
formation it is as a 'passing' over a high pass onto a plateau. It is left
behind and it is a new thing before us. Thus the transition from sand box
toys to the real thing. One day we all make one sort of passage from afar
onto something windy and winding, onto a new plateau. Infinity means
expansion wrt the before beyond function....
