I am seeking information concerning the relationship of office development
to regional commercial centers (malls). Do office workers support the
feasibility of a regional mall in a mixed use development? Have there been
any studies to determine the extent of this support, either in income that is
expended at the malls from the office employees or some other quantative or
qualitative information.

I am also interested in any studies or documentation that analyze the
regional commercial center as the "new downtown" for suburban communities. I
would particularly be interested in the replacement of the center city
downtowns with suburban malls and sociological attributes of this trend.

Thanks.
