I have been trying to locate an essay written by Sergei Eisenstein
comparing his cinematic theory of Montage to the subject of Urban
Design and the linear experience of a city street. It was suggested
that it had appeared some years ago in a Architectal Journal published
by an Architectural School in the U.S. If anyone is familiar with
this and could direct me to it, I would be grateful. Is there another
